Privacy Policy
What CoinPumpkin collects, what it does not, which third parties are involved, and how to exercise your rights.

This policy explains how CoinPumpkin handles data when you visit https://coinpumpkin.com. It describes what the site actually does rather than reserving every right we could theoretically want.
1. The short version
There are no accounts on this site, no login, no newsletter and no user database. We do not ask for your name, email address or wallet address, and we have nothing to sell to anyone. The only personal data that reaches us directly is whatever you choose to put in an email.
2. What is collected
- Information you send us. If you email us, we hold that message and your address for as long as needed to deal with it.
- Server and network logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. We do not use these logs to build profiles.
- Analytics and advertising data, but only if you accept it. See sections 3 and 4.
3. Cookies and consent
The site sets no cookies of its own. Your choice from the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage under the key cp-consent, which never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Until you accept, no analytics or advertising script is loaded and no request is made to those third parties. Declining costs you nothing: every page works identically. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data for this domain. Full detail is in the cookie policy.
4. Third parties
The site depends on services run by other companies. Some are contacted on every request; others only after you consent.
- CoinGecko — market data. Requests are made by our server, not your browser, so CoinGecko does not see your IP address.
- alternative.me — the Fear & Greed Index, also fetched server-side.
- News publishers — headlines are fetched server-side, but article thumbnails load directly from the publisher's CDN, which means that CDN sees your IP address and user agent.
- Google Fonts — the typeface is self-hosted at build time, so no request is made to Google when you load a page.
- Advertising networks — loaded only after you accept advertising cookies. They may set their own cookies and collect technical data to select and measure ads under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
- Google Analytics 4 — loaded only after you accept analytics cookies, with IP anonymisation enabled.
5. Affiliate links
Some outbound links to exchanges and products are affiliate links. Following one tells that company we referred you, usually through a code in the URL, so they can pay a commission if you open an account. They then process your data as their own customer. Every such link is labelled — see the affiliate disclosure.
6. Retention
Emails are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are retained by our host on their own schedule, typically a matter of days. Analytics and advertising data is held by those providers under their own retention policies. We keep no other records about visitors.
7. Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for server logs is legitimate interest in operating a secure service, and for analytics and advertising it is your consent — which is why neither runs until you give it.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, most requests are answered quickly. Write to getcoinpumpkin@gmail.com.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not offer financial incentives for data.
8. International transfers
The site is served from a global content delivery network, and the third parties listed above operate internationally. Your request may therefore be handled outside your own country, including in the United States.
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
